Keegan Tom

North Vancouver Chiropractor, Dr. Keegan Tom treats a variety of muscle, nerve, and joint conditions, with a specialty in back and neck pain, headaches, and sprain/strain injuries. He enjoys helping people reach their goals whether you are an athlete, weekend warrior, or office worker.

Dr. Tom consistently uses chiropractic techniques including joint manipulation and soft tissue techniques including elements of Active Release Technique (ART) and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM). Dr. Tom also values rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle education to help his patients maintain optimal function. He believes in an evidence-based approach to best suit each patient’s individual goals and needs. Dr. Tom embraces a collaborative approach to patient care, working with other practitioners to ensure the most complete and efficient care.

Dr. Tom completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. After graduating, he worked as a personal trainer and kinesiologist at a multidisciplinary rehab clinic in Victoria. Later, Dr. Tom went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, OR where he graduated Cum Laude.

Growing up on the North Shore, Dr. Tom has been involved in sports his whole life, competing in soccer, rugby, football, track and field, and cross country. In his adult years, he has transitioned to road cycling and triathlon competitions. Despite being very active, he was also very injury-prone. Chiropractic care proved to be invaluable for not only getting him back to competition quickly but also to avoid future injury.

When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Tom exploring BC through hiking or skiing the local mountains, and doing triathlons and weight training in the off-season. He also keeps an ever-growing list of milkshake ratings, so if you have any local favourites, feel free to recommend them!
